Shift: 5AM start Pay: $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

  • Review shipping orders and packing lists to determine items to be loaded onto outgoing trucks.
  • Retrieve items from designated storage areas within the warehouse using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
  • Verify the accuracy of items being loaded by comparing them to shipping documents and ensuring they match in quantity and description.
  • Pack items securely and efficiently onto trucks, taking care to organize them to maximize space utilization and prevent damage during transit.
  • Apply proper labeling and identification to loaded items, including pallet tags, shipping labels, and other required documentation.
  • Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed to maintain accurate records of warehouse stock levels.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following safe lifting techniques.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized, including sweeping floors, removing debris, and disposing of packaging materials properly.
  • Communicate any issues or discrepancies with shipments, inventory, or equipment to supervisors or warehouse management.
  • Collaborate with other warehouse team members to ensure timely completion of loading tasks and meet shipping deadlines.

Qualification Skills:

  • Physical stamina and strength to lift and move heavy objects repeatedly throughout the workday.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in matching items to shipping documents and packing them securely.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
  • Basic math skills for counting and verifying inventory items.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and practices related to warehouse operations

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience working in a warehouse or distribution center environment preferred.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, safely and efficiently (certification may be required)
